Celery seed is the dried seed of the celery plant native to Italy. The seed has a slightly sharp, bitter flavour, reminiscent of the vegetable.
Celery Salt is made by mixing crushed CELERY seeds and salt, typically in a ratio of about 2:1.
Used to enhance the flavour of savoury dishes, providing a subtle celery-like taste that complements many ingredients, making it a versatile seasoning in the kitchen.

Uses
Cocktails: used in Bloody Marys, where it can be dusted along the rim of the glass or added directly to the drink for a savoury kick.
Salads: Enhance the flavour of cold salads such as potato salad, egg salad, tuna salad, and coleslaw by substituting regular salt with celery salt.
Soups and Stews: to enhance the overall flavour. It works particularly well in vegetable soups and broths.
