Uses

Moisturiser: Mix it with equal parts olive, almond or coconut oil to create a moisturiser.

For problem skin: Dab some on your face or apply it with a warm flannel to reduce the appearance of problem skin.

Scalp soother: Massage it directly into your scalp to soothe irritated skin and reduce dry skin.

Brow/lash growth: Put a small amount of castor oil on your brows or lashes to promote hair growth.

For split ends: Comb some through split ends.

*We recommend that you test it on a small patch of skin first to make sure you don't have an allergic reaction.

Safety Precautions

We recommend using castor oil for topical application. Taking castor oil internally may cause some side effects:

  • abdominal cramping
  • nausea
  • vomiting
  • diarrhoea, especially when used in large amounts
  • Do not use castor oil if you’re pregnant.

Allergic reactions to castor oil are rare but possible, so seek emergency medical care if you believe you are having a serious allergic reaction.

When using castor oil topically, it’s still best to start slowly and perform a skin patch test on a small area of your skin before applying larger amounts, and also keep it away from your eyes, inside of your nose, children and pets.
