Roasted in Oxford, UK, these organic coffee beans are sourced from El Jaguar, Nicaragua — a farm known for its commitment to organic growing and exceptional cup quality. Grown at 1,300–1,350m, the Red and Yellow Catuai varieties are washed processed, producing a clean, fruit-forward profile.

Nicaraguan sourcing: El Jaguar

El Jaguar is an organically grown farm in Nicaragua, producing Red and Yellow Catuai varieties using a washed process. Grown at elevation between 1,300 and 1,350 metres, the conditions produce a clean, structured cup with distinctive fruit character.

Flavour profile and tasting notes

In the cup, expect apricot, blueberry, and a smooth vanilla finish. Bright, clean, and fruit-forward — a versatile roast that works well across multiple brew methods.

As a bulk foods store, despite maintaining a Five-Star Food Hygiene rating, the presence of allergens cannot be fully eliminated. Sacks of products containing allergens are opened and closed daily as we scoop and refill our shop dispensers. We use separate scoops for each product and store each product in its own container or original sack — however, products containing allergens are not stored or packed in a self-contained area.

This means all products may contain traces of allergens due to cross-contamination.

Where a product is indicated as free from a particular allergen, this means it has not been formulated from or wholly derived from that ingredient. Allergen handling procedures are in place throughout our supply chain to minimise the risk of cross-contamination, but this cannot be guaranteed.
