Soda crystals (sodium carbonate), also known as washing soda, helps lift grease, soften water, and freshen surfaces.

This soda crystals refill gives you one product with many uses, so it is ideal for cupboards, laundry rooms, and kitchen cleaning. It mixes easily with hot water, works well on everyday dirt, and can help boost the performance of your detergent without adding extra clutter.

The pouch uses a resealable kraft outer with plant-based film inside, keeping your soda crystals refill neat, easy to store, and ready for repeat use.

How to use

Clean kitchen surfaces, hobs, extractors, bins, ovens and inside fridges

Dissolve 200g of soda crystals in 1 pint (500 ml) of water. Spray or wipe the solution onto surfaces. Leave stubborn marks to soak for a minute or two, then wipe them down with a clean cloth. Do not use soda crystals on aluminium surfaces.

Greasy pans

Mix 200g of soda crystals with every pint (500 ml) of water. Soak greasy pans in the solution of soda crystals and hot water. Leave for a few hours and wipe clean.

Cleaning washing machines

Run a hot wash with nothing but 500g – 750g of soda crystals added to the detergent dispenser.

Boost Laundry detergent

Add two tablespoons of soda crystals to your detergent dispenser to soften water and aid cleaning.

Cleaning toilets

Neutralise odours and clear limescale by pouring 300g of soda crystals down and around the bowl. Leave overnight before flushing away.

Blocked Pipes

Pour a mug of crystals down the plughole. Flush through with hot water.

Store in a cool, dry place and keep it sealed after use. Follow the directions on the pack, patch test when needed, and avoid using it on surfaces that may be damaged by alkaline cleaners.

How much does delivery cost?

We offer free local delivery on all orders over £40 — otherwise a small service fee of £4.00 applies. We also deliver nationwide using Royal Mail. Price based on weight. Free delivery on orders over £75.

How long does delivery take?

We pick and pack your order within 2 working days, then send it on its way via Royal Mail. You can expect delivery within 5 working days from when you place your order.

Orders placed before 1:00pm Monday to Friday — we'll do our best to dispatch the same day, though during busy periods it may take 1–3 days. Orders placed after 1pm will go out the following working day.

Orders placed over the weekend (Saturday or Sunday) will be dispatched on the following Monday or Tuesday.

Shipping times are calculated from the day of dispatch, not the day of ordering. Please note these are estimated timeframes and not guaranteed.

What packaging do you use?

All orders are packed using reused and repurposed cardboard boxes and paper from our own deliveries. We use paper tape — no plastic in sight. For local deliveries, we also collect and reuse our own containers, so very little goes to waste.
