Serving suggestions

  • Enjoy warm with jam, honey, or a little butter.
  • Split and fill with cheese, ham, or egg for a quick breakfast.
  • Serve alongside coffee, tea, or fruit for an easy brunch spread.

For the lightest crumb, bake only after the croissants have fully proved. If you have leftovers, allow them to cool completely, then store in an airtight container. A short warm-up in the oven helps restore their crisp layers before serving.

How to Cook

Place the croissants on a tray and leave them to prove at room temperature overnight. In the morning, brush lightly with egg wash and bake at 190ºC / 170ºC Fan / 375ºF / Gas Mark 5 for 15-18 minutes, or until they are puffed, crisp, and evenly browned.

Tips:

  • Leave space around each croissant so the layers can rise evenly.
  • Apply egg wash gently for a smooth, glossy finish.
  • Serve shortly after baking for the best texture and flavour.
