This organic and Fairtrade Chinese Sencha Green tea is produced by a committed network of nine small-scale producers farming the 31 hectare Yin Quan Tea Garden, in Jiangxi province, a region famous for high-quality tea. The Tea Garden has been organic since 2009, and has since gained its Fairtrade certification.
The flavour is exceptional, in part due to the research and development undertaken at the estate to refine the leaf and processing. The volcanic soil also contributes to the unique flavour of this tea. The leaves of Sencha are steamed and then rolled flat, giving them their characteristic shape.
This product comes in a pre-filled jar* or paper bag.
